The town council is intent on supporting
local associations who are at the grass roots of
many initiatives so that the town can retain its
dynamic image.
As well as the weekly cinema, the magnificent Ronsard hall plays host to the Printemps Culturel performance festival each year, and also provides
the stage for a wide variety of theatre, dance,
music hall and musical shows throughout the year.
At the end of summer, the horse fair turns the meadows
alongside the Loir river into the focal point of the equestrian world. But news is also about daily life in the town, public works, planning, the latest happenings, council initiatives, etc.

Added to the town’s pleasant surroundings are
the business events and the festivities that bring its streets to life, and a vibrant nature that is illustrated by the many sports and leisure activities that increase the selection
(the town of Le Lude was ranked 2nd for recreational activities in the Pays de La Loire in 1998).
